Madonna Sebastian, who was last seen in a cameo in the Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Junga, will play the female lead in Vikram Prabhu’s next film. Directed by debutant Dhanasekar, an erstwhile assistant of Mani Ratnam, the film will also star Aishwarya Rajesh in an important role. While GV Prakash Kumar was earlier said to be playing the male lead, it looks like the Sarvam Thala Mayam actor has opted out due to date issues.

Produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies banner, the untitled project has music by 96-fame Govind Vasantha. Notably, Madras Talkies has only produced two films that were not directed by Mani Ratnam himself — Azhagam Perumal’s Dumm Dumm Dumm and Susi Ganeshan’s Five Star — both former associates of the veteran filmmaker.

Meanwhile, Madonna also has Sasikumar's Kombu Vetcha Singamada as well as the much-awaited Virus in Malayalam and Kotigobba 3 in Kannada, in her kitty.
