For the first time, director Puri Jagannadh is gearing up to direct a sequel. The Temper director, who has joined hands with actor Ram for the sci-fi action drama iSmart Shankar, has registered the title Double iSmart at the Film Chamber recently.

"Puri is relishing every moment on the sets and is confident that iSmart Shankar will do well at the box office. He has conceived an exciting idea and has decided to make a sequel to the film right after wrapping up the first part," reveals a source.

iSmart Shankar features Ram as a Hyderabadi street smart youth speaking the local dialect, while Nabha Natesh and Disha Patani play the female leads. Produced jointly by Puri and Charmme Kaur, the film also stars Sudhanshu Pandey, Satya Dev, Puneet Issar and Ashish Vidyarthi in crucial roles, and has music by Mani Sharma.
