Nayanthara, who was last seen in Ajith Kumar's Viswasam, is reportedly in talks to play the lead in a female-centric film, to be helmed by C Velmathi, the director of the long-delayed Andaava Kaanom.  This project is said to be produced by Kumar, the official manager of Puneeth Rajkumar. Details regarding the other cast and crew are kept under wraps. 

Nayanthara, who is keen on playing meaningful roles, has films like Airaa, Kolayuthir Kaalam, Mr. Romeo, Thalapathy 63, Sye Raa (Telugu), and Love Action Drama (Malayalam) in different stages of production.  The actor is all set to join the sets of Vijay's third film with director Atlee in the third week of March.
