Actor Srinivas Avasarala's new film, NRI - Nayana Rara Intiki was launched today. The event was attended by actors Nani, Amala Akkineni, Akhil, Sumanth, director Indraganti Mohan Krishna, lyricist Padma Shri Sirivennela Sitaramasastry and composer RP Patnaik. 

Also starring Lakshmi Manchu and Mahati in the lead, the film is being directed by Bala Rajasekharuni and bankrolled by Pradeep KR.

Speaking about the film, Bala says, "I have worked as a Dean in Annapurna International School of Film and Media (AISFM) and it feels great to have my first film launched in Annapurna Studios in the presence of these stalwarts. The story of NRI has stemmed from my real-life observations. Srinivas Avasarala plays an entertaining role and his portions with Lakshmi Manchu are going to leave the audience in splits."

Naga Babu plays a cameo in the film, which has music by Yogeswara Sharma.
