Historically, huge stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ajith Kumar, and Vijay have been beneficiaries of special early-morning shows in the Tamil film industry. But, the latest trend seems to be that even smaller films, which have managed to create some hype, are being scheduled for special morning shows. With RJ-turned-actor Balaji's political satire, LKG, which is scheduled for release this Friday, getting such 5 am shows alloted at Rohini Cinemas in Chennai, a few feathers in the industry seems to have been ruffled.

Actor Vishal Vishal apparently took a dig at this 5 am special show phenomenon in a Twitter post, saying such special shows are losing their value and have become a gimmick. Responding to this, RJ Balaji posted a tweet claiming that his 5 am show is hard-earned, and added a screenshot of his Whatsapp conversation with the theater owner, where he had questioned the real reason behind the special shows, and the theater owner had responded that it was due to the buzz, and used the hashtag #RespectOthersWorkYoullGetYours.

The extended Twitter war between the two actors became the trending topic of tinsel town, today morning. However, in a turn of events by noon, both the actors deleted the tweets in question, and chose to bury the hatchet.

RJ Balaji tweeted that the differences in opinion have since been talked about, and the issue resolved. Vishnu Vishal tweeted back wishing the best for LKG.
