CE Features

The dubbing work for Sivakarthikeyan's second production venture, starring TV actor, Rio Raj, started yesterday. The film, directed by Karthik Venugopalan from the famed YouTube channel, Black Sheep, will have Rio making his debut as the leading actor.

The yet-to-be-titled project, referred to as Production No 2, which went on floors last November, also has RJ Vignesh, who was last seen in Dev, Shirin Kanchwala, Radha Ravi and Nanjil Sampath essaying important roles. Billed to be a fun entertainer, this will be Sivakarthikeyan's follow-up to his first production, the Arunraja Kamaraj-directed Kanaa, starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Sathyaraj, which was released to rave reviews in December.

With music by Shabir, the film is presently in the post-production phase, and an official announcement about the release is expected soon.

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Sivakarthikeyan has the Rajesh-directorial Mr Local, co-starring Nayanthara, set to hit the screens on May 1.
