Samantha Akkineni and Bellamkonda Sreenivas to team up after five years?

CE Features

Bellamkonda Sreenivas's debut film Alludu Seenu (2014), was an action entertainer directed by VV Vinayak, and it starred Samantha Akkineni as the female lead. According to a well-placed source, the actors, who continued to share a good rapport professionally, are likely to work together again in a new film to be directed by RX 100-fame Ajay Bhupathi.

"Ajay pitched the storyline to Samantha and is awaiting her response. Unlike RX 100, this project won't have any intense romantic scenes. It focuses on human emotions and sentiment. The director is hopeful of getting her on board," informs the source.

Samantha has started shooting for director Nandini Reddy's O Baby! Yentha Sakkagunnave, a comedy-drama inspired by the South Korean film Miss Granny, while Bellamkonda is wrapping up the last leg of shoot of his upcoming film, Sita.
