Actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas says his upcoming action thriller Saakshyam is a concept-driven film that’s centred around the five elements of nature – wind, earth, water, fire and space. “I was fascinated with the story pitched by director Sriwass. It’s a first-of-its-kind film that’s themed around five elements of nature. The film is a wholesome entertainer which will give an overpowering cinematic experience to the audience. I will be seen as an adventurous video game director from the west. I was trained extensively in BMX riding, flyboarding, sandboarding and jet skiing in Dubai for 20 days to pull off the action sequences. Our stunt master Peter Hein has choreographed breathtaking action sequences which were shot in real locations for the film,” says Sreenivas.

The film has been in the making for a long-time and Sreenivas claims that his producer Abhishek Nama wanted it to be shot on a lavish scale. “Saakshyam has got a boost in finances to get the grand scale. It is being made on a big canvas. I think we have made a mini Baahubali (laughs). Being a producer’s son, I’ve ensured that we have a proper blueprint for the expenditure as it should also comply with my market. I always maintain a cordial relationship with my producers and I understand these business dynamics well,” adds the Alludu Seenu actor.

Sreenivas is all praise for his co-star Pooja Hegde. “It’s a delight to have her in our film and she is a fabulous co-star. We shot outdoors in New York, New Jersey and Grand Canyon for nearly a month and we hit it off really well,” he says.
