Urvashi Rautela wraps up shoot for Hindi remake of Thiruttu Payale 2

Urvashi Rautela has wrapped up shooting for the Hindi remake of director Susi Ganesan's 2017 Tamil film, Thiruttu Payale 2.

Urvashi took to social media to share the news. She also posted a video of her taking a boat ride in Varanasi, where the film, directed by Susi himself, was shot.

Urvashi wrote, "Bring the toughest role to me, I'll do it. It's a film wrap. I feel blessed post Pagalpanti to have been on this special journey, of Hindi remake of Tamil superhit Thiruttu Payale 2 alongside my two heroes Viineet Kumar and Akshay Oberoi directed by Susi Ganesan."

In a detailed post, she also revealed details about her de-glam, girl-next-door avatar in the film. "This will be the second time I will be seen in a de-glam avatar. I play a social media addict from Varanasi. People will definitely get to see me in a new avatar and I am really excited about this film."

In the film, Urvashi, who steps into Amala Paul's shoes from the original, will be seen playing the love interest of Mukkabaaz-fame Viineet Kumar. Viineet essays a played by National Award-winner Bobby Simha in the original, which also starred Prasanna as the antagonist. The yet-to-be-titled film stars Akshay Oberoi, who was recently seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, as the villain.

Incidentally, Susi made his Bollywood directorial debut with Neil Nitin Mukesh-starrer, Shortcut Romeo, a remake of his very own Thiruttu Payale.
