The much-awaited first-look poster and title of Vijay’s upcoming film with Logesh Kanagaraj are out. The film is titled Master. Like always, the poster has gone viral within minutes from its release. 

Other than Vijay the film also stars Vijay Sethupathi in the antagonist role. Sethupathi, who has earlier acted alongside Superstar Rajinikanth in Petta, is teaming up with Vijay for the first time for the film, which has created huge anticipation among Tamil cinema fans.

Malavika Mohanan, who also acted in Petta, is the female lead in the movie, which also stars Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu, Sriman, and Ramesh Thilak. 

Vijay is reportedly playing the role of a professor in the film, and the title seems to reinforce the speculations. Also, it is widely said that the film is inspired by Kamal Haasan's Nammavar (1994). 

Other details about the film’s story are kept under wraps. Produced by XB Film Creators, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The makers are looking forward to releasing the film for Summer 2020.

Meanwhile, Vijay and director Logesh Kanagaraj are basking in the success of their respective latest releases - Bigil and Kaithi.
