Vishnu Vishal teams up with Chella Ayyavu again for sports drama

Vishnu Vishal’s Silukkuvarpatti Singam, directed by Chella Ayyavu, released last year to mixed responses from the critics and audience. Now, after a year, the actor is again teaming up with the director Chella Ayyavu for a sports drama. 

Vishnu took to Twitter to announce the film. He wrote, “Last year on this day #silukkuvarpattisingam released with 5 films. I got really good feedback from family audiences. On this day, announcing my association with Chella Ayyavu again under VVStudioz. This time, a nice sports family drama. Movie to begin next year. Other details soon (sic).”

The Chella Ayyavu-Vishnu film is reported to also star Priya Bhavani Shankar and Yogi Babu

This will be Vishnu's second sports drama on the trot after the Tamil remake of the Nani-starrer, Jersey. He is also currently working on another home production, FIR, which also stars Manjima Mohan, Reba Monica John, Raiza Wilson, and Gaurav Narayanan. Directed by debutant Manu Aravind, FIR marks Vishnu's fourth production venture. It is expected to be a Summer 2020 release.
