The shooting of Valimai, the second collaboration of Ajith and director H Vinoth, is currently underway in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The makers are very particular about not leaking Ajith's look from the film, and have therefore banned the use of cellphones on the sets.

The supporting cast and technicians have been asked not to use mobile phones on location.

Many filmmakers like Shankar and SS Rajamouli have imposed such bans on the sets of their films. Cellphones are reportedly banned on the sets of RRR, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR.

Valimai is produced by Boney Kapoor, who is basking in the success of his first Tamil venture, Nerkonda Paarvai. The upcoming film has Ajith playing the role of a cop. Details about the female lead and the story are being kept under wraps.
