Let’s Break Up will bring together Panchatantra hero Vihan and Kiss heroine Sreeleela for the first time. The film, to be directed by Swaroop, will be made under the banner of Jayanna Productions. This will be yet another love story from the production house that backed Mr and Mrs Ramachari.

Swaroop, who has worked under Upendra for some time, is set to make his directorial debut with Lucknow to Bengaluru, starring Vijay Surya, which is now in the post-production stage. Let’s Break Up will be his second outing.

With the tagline ‘Forever’, the film's story has been written by director Swaroop himself. Aside from pain and heartbreak, the makers are also giving the romantic drama a commercial touch with three action sequences.

Let’s Break Up will go on floors in May, but the team plans to unveil the first look poster on Valentine’s Day. While most of the shooting has been planned in Bengaluru, a couple of scenes will also be shot in the coastal area of Mangaluru.

Meanwhile, the production house has started work on the music with composer Vineeth Raj Menon, who will be composing five songs for the film.

The team plans to release Let’s Break Up either in October or December 2020.

This will be the third outing for Vihan, who made his debut with 1/4 Kg Preethi. It will also be Sreeleela’s third project, after Kiss, which starred Virat and was directed by A P Arjun, and Chethan Kumar’s Bharate, in which she was paired with Sriimurali.
