Jatin Sarna is heading into 2020 with Kabir Khan’s 83 and AR Murugadoss’s Darbar. With these projects, the actor extends his portfolio of working with top directors in the country.

Jatin rose to fame with Sacred Games, where he got to work with Anurag Kashyap. “Anurag is more like a teacher than a director. He gave me the space and freedom to explore and find my own character. He always kept us on our toes,” Jatin shares.

The actor also played a pivotal role in Abhishek Chaubey’s Sonchiriya. On working with director Abhishek, Jatin adds, “Abhishek Chaubey is calm and composed like Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap, he knows what he wants, but he won’t allow unnecessary improvisation.”

In AR Murugadoss’ Darbar, Jatin will be seen playing the role of a gangster. The actor says it was an enriching experience to work with three legends — Rajinikanth, AR Murugadoss, and Santosh Sivan.

He is also excited for Kabir Khan’s ’83 in 2020. The film is based on the 1983 World Cup match and Jatin essays ace cricketer Yashpal Sharma. On working with Kabir, Jatin notes, “Kabir Khan is a phenomenal director. He never makes you feel you are small. He is always approachable and supportive.”

Looks like Sacred Games’ Bunty has a lot on his plate, not just Parle-G.
