The next Conjuring film titled The Devil Made Me Do It

The seventh film in the Conjuring franchise will have actors Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson reprising their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren

The title and the release date for the upcoming Conjuring film have been revealed. The film, which will be released in September 2020, is titled The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

James Wan, who directed the first two instalments, is producing this film. "The next chapter of Ed and Lorraine, with Patrick and Vera back. Based/Inspired by another one of their cases," said Wan in a post on social media.

This instalment is said to be based on a true-life incident that marked the first time in US history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.
