Kiara Advani in talks for Vijay Deverakonda's Fighter

CE Features

Kiara Advani has been approached to play the leading lady opposite Vijay Deverakonda in Puri Jagannadh's romantic action film, Fighter

"Vijay shares a great rapport with Kiara ever since the duo shot for a commercial. So, he has reached out to her. She really liked her role and the storyline, and is keen to be a part of the project. However, she has sought some time to adjust her call sheets to accommodate the film," informs a source close to the production unit.

Last seen in Vinaya Vidheya Rama, Kiara has recently turned down two Telugu films — Varun Tej's boxing drama and Bellamkonda Sreenivas's untitled commercial entertainer due to her busy schedule.

Basking in the success of Kabir Singh, Kiara is currently working on five Hindi films — Good Newwz, Laxmmi Bomb, Indoo Ki Jawani, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Shershaah — and remains one of the busiest actors in Bollywood.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Fighter will feature Vijay Deverakonda as a martial artist, who is said to have a stutter. The film will go on floors early next year.
