CE Features

Chiranjeevi's new film, Chiru 152, which marks his first collaboration with director Koratala Siva, will start rolling on December 26. The film apparently features Chiru as a middle-aged Brahmin priest-turned-Naxalite-turned-social reformer and it is learnt that the team is considering Acharya as the title.

The team will begin filming with a song and some crucial scenes featuring Chiranjeevi in a specially erected colony set in Kokapet. The next schedule will commence in Rajamahendravaram. Recently, the direction team has completed location recce in and around the coastal city.

Trisha, who earlier worked with Chiru in Stalin (2006), is joining hands with the 64-year-actor again for this action entertainer set in the backdrop of Srikakulam. The film is a contemporary take over misappropriation and embezzlement of temple funds and donations by the Endowments Department.

The music sittings of the film are currently underway in a beach resort in Goa and it is learnt that Chiru will also join these sessions soon.

Produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy, Acharya is slated for release during Dasara 2020.
