Even as he is busy with his upcoming film Three Thousand Years of Longing, director George Miller will work on the pre-production of a sequel to Mad Max: Fury Road.

The filmmaker was quoted as saying, “I’m not done with the Mad Max story and I think you have to be a multitasker, and there’s certainly another Mad Max coming down the pike after this (Three Thousand Years of Longing)."

Currently, Three Thousand Years of Longing, Miller’s first directorial venture after Mad Max: Fury Road, is all set to go on floors in Australia with Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton in the lead.

Miller has ideas for two sequels to Mad Max: Fury Road and a spin-off on the character Furiosa.
