The children of three veteran film personalities are finally coming together for a project. Vineeth Sreenivasan has announced his next directorial titled Hridayam, in which he has cast Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan, along with Darshana Rajendran (Mayanadhi, Virus).

What’s also worth noting is the fact that Visakh Subramaniam, the grandson of Merryland Studio founder P Subramaniam, is producing the film under the banner of Merryland Cinemas, along with Noble Babu Thomas. The latter recently co-wrote, co-produced and starred in Helen, starring Anna Ben.

Hridayam has been scripted by Vineeth Sreenivasan himself.

Sharing the news, Kalyani wrote, “Dad once told me that the best part about this job is that you can wake up and never know who might call you that day. I understood what he meant only when I got the call about this film from you Vineeth chetta. You made me feel the entire film in that narration, now I can't wait to start making it for others to feel what I felt. Need everyone’s blessings for my next film. It’s a special one.”

This is not the first time that Pranav and Kalyani are acting together. The two will be also seen in Priyadarshan’s upcoming epic Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham.

Vineeth, whose last directorial was Jacobinte Swargarajyam, starring Nivin Pauly, has been busy with acting assignments for the past three years, appearing in successive hits such as Aravindanthe Athithikal, Thanneer Mathan Dinangal, Love Action Drama, and Helen.

Hridayam is expected to reach theatres for Onam 2020.
