Sathyaraj, who plays a gynecologist avenging the wrong done to his daughter in Theerpugal Virkapadum, has completed dubbing for the film in less than 12 hours.

Directed by debutant filmmaker Dheeran, the film is an action thriller based on true events. "Theerpugal Virkapadum will be on the lines of A Wednesday (Unnai Pol Oruvan). Though we have four action sequences, choreographed by Dinesh Subbarayan. But it won't feel over the top as Sathyaraj sir is playing his age in the film. It will be more about brains than brawn," the director says.

Dheeran also adds that he has become a fan of Sathyaraj's hard work and dedication after working with him. "It was amazing to see Sathyaraj sir finish his dubbing at a stretch. We are happy with the way the film has shaped up and will be presenting the teaser soon." 

Theerpugal Virkapadum, which has cinematography by Anji of Pokkiri Raja fame, music by Yamirkua Bayamaey-fame Prasad SN, and editing by Sarath, assistant of editor Ruben, is expected to get a release next Summer.
