After it was known that Allu Arjun is joining hands with director Venu Sriram for Icon, speculations were rife about the cast and crew of the film. While Raashi Khanna's name has cropped up for the female lead role, the latest buzz is that the makers have signed Anirudh Ravichander as the music composer.

Anirudh, who made his Telugu debut with the Pawan Kalyan-starrer Agnyaathavaasi, has continued his successful stint with Nani's Jersey. However, the team of Icon has neither confirmed nor denied Anirudh's association with the project. 

Icon's story revolves around a stolen bike, and the film’s tagline ‘Kanapadutaledhu’ emphasises this.

Produced by Dil Raju, the shooting of Icon is expected to begin in October, and the makers are planning to wrap up work by Summer 2021.
