National-Award winning actor Keerthy Suresh's next film has been titled Miss India, announced its makers today.

Directed by newcomer Narendra Nath, the title was released via a 52-second video which also gives a glimpse of the 26-year-old actor's character in the film. Tipped to be a family entertainer, the film produced by Mahesh S Koneru shows Keerthy as a young girl in her 20s who aspires to win the Miss India beauty pageant.

While Naresh and Nadhiya play Keerthy's parents, Bhanushree and Kamal essay her siblings, and Rajendra Prasad will be seen as her grandfather. "The film is an emotional family drama about a young girl's dream. The shooting is almost through, save for some patchwork and talkie portions. We are planning to release Miss India either in October or November," says Narendra Nath.
