Dha Dha 87 director teams up with Aishwarya Dutta for PUBG

We had previously reported that filmmaker Vijay Sri, who directed the Charuhasan starrer, Dha Dha 87, is doing a film titled PUBG. It's now known that the film's title is an abbreviation of Polladha Ulagil Bayangara Game and will star Bigg Boss fame Aishwarya Dutta in the lead role.

PUBG, a comedy thriller, will have four other female leads, but Aishwarya is said to be the main lead. Rajendran and another Bigg Boss fame Julie will be playing an important role in this film which will revolve around a game with five players similar to that of the viral online multiplayer battle royale game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, famously known as PUBG. The makers have currently wrapped up the first schedule for this film.

Vijay Sri, meanwhile, has Peetru in the pipeline which will be the comeback film for Hamsavardhan, who was last seen in the 2007 film Piragu. Aishwarya, on the other hand, has Aleka with Aari, Kettavanu Per Edutha Nallavanda with Mahat and Kanni Theevu co-starring Varalaxmi, Ashna Zaveri and Subhiksha.
