Meera Mithun to be part of Sivakarthikeyan's Namma Veetu Pillai

Meera Mithun, who made the news with her controversial stint on Bigg Boss Tamil 3, will now be part of Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film. The model-turned-actor announced the same with a tweet from her official account.

Directed by Pandiraj, the first look of the film, titled Namma Veetu Pillai, was unveiled today. The poster shows a veshti-clad Sivakarthikeyan striding with an indignant look on his face and a spear-like instrument in hand. The film will also star Aishwarya Rajesh, Anu Emmanuel, Samuthirakani, cinematographer-turned-actor Nataraj, and Bharathiraja.

The film, with music by D Imman, is produced by Sun Pictures. The shooting was wrapped up recently and the film is expected to hit screens this September.

Meera was last seen in the stoner film, Bodhai Yeri Buddhi Maari.
