Thor: Love & Thunder to go on floors from early 2020

The film will also see Natalie Portman's  character Jane Foster suiting up as Mighty Thor

Thor: Love & Thunder, which was recently announced during Marvel Studios' panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, will reportedly go on floors from early next year.

Writer-director Taika Waititi has completed the scripting process early so that he can use the rest of this year to promote his upcoming film Jojo Rabbit and shoot his recently announced movie, Next Goal Wins

The Avengers: Endgame ending saw Thor join the Guardians of the Galaxy, leaving Valkyrie as head of New Asgard on Earth. So the god of thunder is expected to leave behind his new gang for new adventures in Thor: Love & Thunder.

Starring Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman, it was also confirmed in Comic-Con that Portman's character Jane Foster will suit up as Mighty Thor in the upcoming film. As the last film in the recently announced Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Unvierse, Thor: Love & Thunder is planned to hit the screens in November 2021.
