With the shoot of Madhavan's directorial debut, Rocketry - The Nambi Effect, recently wrapped up, it was said that Suriya and Shah Rukh Khan will be making cameo appearances in the film. Now, it has been revealed that Suriya will be seen in a pivotal role, as the person who interviews Nambi Narayanan on television.

Interestingly, Suriya and Madhavan previously shared screen space in Mani Ratnam's 2004 film, Ayutha Ezhuthu.

Rocketry - The Nambi Effect, based on the life of scientist and aerospace engineer S Nambi Narayanan, has Simran playing the character of Nambi's wife, Meena Nambi. This is her third collaboration with Madhavan after Kannathil Muthamittal and Parthale Paravasam.

Rocketry - The Nambi Effect is slated for release later this year.
