Suni's upcoming directorial, Avatar Purusha, featuring Sharan in the role of a junior artiste, will see Ashika Ranganath play Siri, an NRI. Her character was revealed by the makers, Pushkar films, on the actor's birthday.

The talkie portions of Avatar Purusha are almost completed. The shoot of the songs is also left. Sharan and Ashika are teaming up for the second time after Rambo 2. A family entertainer packed with humour, Avatar Purusha also features Srinagar Kitty in a cameo. Avatar Purusha comes with the tagline, Aswathama Hatha Kunjaraha, and Suni has imbibed the myth of Trishanku in his story. 

With Rangitaranga-fame William David in charge of cinematography, Charan Raj is composing the music for Avatar Purusha.
