We had earlier reported that Jiiva and Arulnithi will be collaborating for a film, which has now been titled Kalathil Sandhippom. The name and the first look of the film were launched on Twitter by Dhanush. The poster features both Arulnithi and Jiiva in sports jerseys, with a backdrop of a kabaddi ground. 

Directed by Rajasekar, the film will also feature Manjima Mohan and Priya Bhavani Shankar. With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Kalathil Sandhippom marks the 90th film of iconic production house, Super Good Films. 

Meanwhile, Jiiva, who was last seen in Gorilla, has Raju Murugan’s Gypsy and the Hindi film, 83, in the pipeline. Arulnithi, on the other hand, was last seen in K-13, and has a number of films in various stages of production including Karu Pazhanippan’s next, Pugazhenthi Ennum Naan, and Seenu Ramasamy's rural crime thriller.
