Basking in the success of his sports drama, Jersey, Nani will soon join hands with his first director Mohan Krishna Indraganti for his 25th film. Deemed to be an action-thriller, the film has been titled V and shows the Bhale Bhale Magadivoy star in a negative role for the first time.
Nani took to Twitter to announce the news and share the film's poster:
The film, whose principal shooting commenced today in Hyderabad, also features Sudheer Babu as the other lead. Nivetha Thomas, who shot to fame with Gentleman, has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Sudheer, while Aditi Rao Hydari is paired opposite Nani. Produced by Dil Raju, V has music by Bollywood composer Amit Trivedi. The team is aiming to release the film in December.
