It's destination Indonesia for team Kaappaan

The last leg of shooting for Suriya's Kaappaan, which is directed by KV Anand, is currently happening in Java island, Indonesia.

The director took to Twitter to announce that a song featuring Suriya is being shot, while also sharing a group picture from the location, where he is seen with actor Suriya, dance choreographer Shobu, art director Kiran and cinematographer Prabhu.

Suriya shares screen space with Mohanlal for the first time in Kaappaan, which has the actors play a special agent and the Prime Minister of India, respectively.

Produced by Lyca Productions, Kaappaan has an ensemble cast that includes the likes of Arya, Boman Irani, and Samuthirakani. Sayyeshaa plays the female lead. The film, with music by Harris Jayaraj, and cinematography by Abhinandan Ramanujam, is scheduled for release on Independence day.
