Krishna Devi, a junior artist who has been part of Tamil cinema for more than thirty years, has accused director Atlee of verbally abusing her on the sets of  Thalapathy 63 on April 16.

She cites the elections and the government holidays as the reason for her not coming out in the public earlier. "All we did is ask the assistant directors for basic amenities like food, and proper toilets. But Atlee and his ADs didn't respond properly to our request and started verbally abusing us. They also forcefully removed me from the spot."

The actor has filed an official complaint against director Atlee and his assistants in Nasarethpet police station.

Thalapathy 63, based on football, stars Vijay, Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Yogi Babu, and Indhuja. The shooting of the film, which has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by GK Vishnu, is currently happening in EVP film city, Chembarambakkam.
