Raghu Shastry’s upcoming directorial, Takkar, which marks the debut of Darshan’s nephew, Manoj Manu, was kickstarted with a poster release in 2018. With the talkie portions complete, the makers launched the film’s first teaser on Sunday.

Going by the teaser, Takkar looks to be an action-packed thriller that explores cybercrime. The film, made under Nagesh Kogilu's SLN Creations, has Ranjini Raghavan playing the female lead. Actors Sridhar, Sumithra, and Shankar Ashwath are also part of the cast.  With Manikanth Kadri scoring the music, Takkar has William David of Rangitaranga-fame handling the camerawork.
