The release date of Kangana Ranaut-Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming film Mental Hai Kya has been shifted to June 21, 2019. The film was earlier supposed to release in February. A new motion poster of featuring Kangana and Rajkummar was released on Wednesday. 

Mental Hai Kya is directed by National Award-winning Telegu filmmaker Prakash Kovelamudi. The screenplay is written by Kanika Dhillon, whose previous works include Manmarziyaan and Kedarnath. Speaking about the film, Kanika tells us, “I will describe the film as a quirky thriller. It's a new space I have explored as a writer. Some of the best minds in the Hindi film industry have come together for this film. We have great actors like Kangana and Rajkummar on board. Ekta (Kapoor) has been a solid producer. Overall, it was a great collaboration and I am excited for the film’s release.”

Mental Hai Kya also stars Amyra Dastur and Jimmy Sheirgill. The film is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Karma Media and Entertainment. Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao had previously worked together in Queen.
