Director Shirish Kunder is making his comeback with an upcoming Netflix Original film. Titled Mrs Serial Killer, the mystery thriller is produced by Farhan Khan. The film’s synopsis reads: "When a husband is framed for serial murders, a doting wife must perform a murder exactly like the serial killer to prove her husband innocent.” 

Shirish’s last feature film was Joker (2012), starring Akshay Kumar. He’d also directed the psychological thriller short film, Kriti (2016), featuring Manoj Bajpayee and Radhika Apte. 

Mrs Serial Killer is one of the ten new original films announced by Netflix India. These include films like Ghost Stories by Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Joya Akhtar, Class of ‘83 by Atul Sabharwal, and Freedom by Dibakar Banerjee. All ten films are expected to release between April and December, 2020.
