Chiranjeevi in Kerala to shoot for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

Chiranjeevi will next be seen as the freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The 63-year-old actor, who recently got back from Japan after a two-week vacation, joined the sets of the historical war film in Kerala for a 10-day schedule, starting Monday. 

"An intensive action sequence featuring Chiranjeevi and the others is currently being shot under the supervision of international stunt choreographers inside a dense forest in Kerala. After this, the unit will head back to Hyderabad to shoot the balance portions and some patchwork in the last schedule,” informs a source. 

Directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan, the film is expected to hit the screens in the first week of October in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. "The post-production will begin in May and the team is diligently working to ensure a Dasara (Dussehra) release,” the source adds. 

Mounted on a budget of Rs 300 crore, the film has an ensemble cast that includes actors like  Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Sudeep, Tamannaah, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapati Babu in crucial roles. It will have music by Bollywood composer Amit Trivedi.
