Suni’s 2017 directorial, Chamak, starring Ganesh and Rashmika Mandanna, will be getting a release in Telugu to cash in on the latter's popularity in that industry. This is evident from the film's Telugu title--Geetha Chalo--being a riff on the actor's successful Geetha Govindam and Chalo (her debut in the industry).

Made under the banner of Rajeshwari Films and presented by Diwakar for Tollywood, the Telugu trailer of the romantic comedy was released today. The dubbed version is set to hit theatres on April 26.

The Kannada film has music by Judah Sandhy and cinematography by Santhosh Rai Pathaje.
