Yogi Babu turns screenwriter

Said to be a comedy film, the makers are looking to release it for Pongal 2020, which is incidentally when the Rajini's Darbar is also set to be released

One of the busiest artistes in Tamil cinema, Yogi Babu, who is said to have been signed for Rajinikanth's Darbar, has turned screenwriter. The untitled film will be directed by debutant Rajasekar, an erstwhile associate of Siva Manasula Sakthi-fame Rajesh. Rahul, who had previously worked as an executive producer in Vivegam and Viswasam, is producing this project under his Remo Pictures banner. 

Apart from writing the story, Yogi Babu will also handle the screenplay and dialogues. The film was officially launched recently and the shooting is scheduled to commence from next month. Said to be a comedy film, the makers are looking to release it for Pongal 2020, which is incidentally when the Rajini-starrer is also set to be released. The rest of the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon.
