The shooting of the upcoming film Thumbaa, which made waves with its viral promo video that featured a CGI tiger, has been wrapped up. The team took to Twitter to announce this, adding that the film will hit the screens this May. Starring Kalakka Povathu Yaaru-fame Dheena, Keerthi Pandian, and Dharshan of Kanaa fame in the lead, the film is directed by debutant Harish Ram, who has worked as an assistant to RS Durai Senthilkumar on films like Ethir Neechal, Kaaki Sattai, and Kodi.

Touted to be a fun, adventure film, its soundtrack will have contributions from multiple music directors. While Anirudh Ravichander will compose one song, the other songs and the background score will be done by Vivek-Mervin and Santhosh Dhayanidhi.
