There is a lot of heart in Jersey, says Nani

CE Features

Actor Nani has stepped into the shoes of a cricketer for his upcoming film, Jersey, and he describes the film as magical. "It is an emotional story. A jersey is not just a piece of clothing a cricketer wears. There's more to it. The promos have shown just a part of the story and I am confident that the film will spring a surprise to the audience. Everyone will fall in love with my character (Arjun). Working in this film has been really satisfying and I'm sure that the emotional content will tug at your heartstrings," says the actor.

Refuting reports of a deferred release, Naga Vamsy, the producer of Jersey says, "The trailer will be unveiled at 9 am on April 12, followed by the film's pre-release event on April 15. We are determined to release Jersey on April 19. Reports of rescheduling the release date are absolutely false. We are extremely satisfied with the output and are excited to offer something new to our audience."

Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, and also starring Shraddha Srinath, the sports drama has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
