Ayushmann Khurrana has wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film, Article 15, which is directed by Anubhav Sinha. “Wrapped up a film which will become the most relevant and important film of Indian cinema. Thank you Anubhav Sinha sir for giving me this gem and also writing the most real cop role ever," the actor tweeted yesterday.

The police investigative drama, set in North India, also stars Isha Talwar, Manoj Pahwa, and Sayani Gupta, among others. Mithun Chakraborty’s younger son, Namashi is set to make his Bollywood debut in the film.

Article 15 of the Indian Constitution prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. Anubhav Sinha’s last film, Mulk, also dealt with themes of bigotry and communal harmony. Ayushmann, who was last seen in Badhaai Ho, has films like Dream Girl and Bala in various stages of production.
