Nawazuddin Siddiqui will star in Glen Barretto’s upcoming road trip film, Dusty to meet Rusty. The film follows the journey of a girl who goes from Mumbai to Dharamshala in search of her childhood sweetheart, but finds her love on the way.

Preparations have begun for the film with the shoot scheduled to begin in August this year. Dusty to meet Rusty marks Nawazuddin’s third collaboration with Woodpeckers Movies after Motichoor Chaknachoor and Bole Chudiyan.

“When Nawaz ji heard the narration, he loved the script of Dusty to meet Rusty instantly. It's an honor to work with talent like Nawaz ji who brings great value to any script with his nuances and outstanding performances. We are on verge of finalising two more A-listers and working the dates out,” says Kiran Bhatia, Producer and Content Head, Woodpecker Movies.

Producer Rajesh Bhatia adds, “We look forward to our third endeavour, Dusty to meet Rusty with Nawaz bhai. It’s always a pleasure to work with him as he brings lots of creative inputs to the table and takes the script to another level with his performance.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui was last seen in Ritesh Batra’s Photograph. He is also set to star in and co-produce Bangladeshi filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s upcoming film, No Land’s Man.
