Jayam Ravi, who was last seen in Adanga Maru, is currently shooting for his next film, directed by debutant Pradeep Ranganathan. The film, reportedly titled Komali, has Kajal Aggarwal and Samyuktha Hegde playing the female leads. While this film, produced by Ishari K Ganesh under his banner Vels Film International, will be Ravi's 24th film, Thani Oruvan 2 is expected to be his 25th.
Now, speculations are rife that Ravi will be doing a mass entertainer with director Hari as a part of his three-film deal with Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the production house associated with films such as Sandakozhi 2, Thadam, Neeya and Iruttu. The actor is also said to be in talks with director Ahmed and Selvaraghavan for his subsequent projects.
Hari, meanwhile, has a film with Suriya, a family drama tentatively referred to as Suriya 39, in the pipeline.
