Tom Hardy wants Venom  to crossover with The Avengers

The character’s big screen debut was in Spider-Man 3 as a villain, portrayed by Topher Grace

Tom Hardy, whose Venom is releasing worldwide next month, wants his character to feature in The Avengers. While the character is not a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the film has reportedly been certified PG-13 keeping options open for a future crossover into the MCU with Tom Holland’s Spiderman.

Tom Hardy, in a recent interview while promoting his upcoming film said, “He would love to run through the Avengers but that decision is above my pay grade.” When asked how he would stop the mightiest heroes of earth, Hardy’s co-star Riz Ahmed, who was part of the interview said that Venom would “just eat them all up” with Hardy adding that he would “love to see a matchup with Hulk”. 

Venom, follows the anti-hero as he transforms from a relentless journalist to an alien symbiote. The character’s big screen debut was in Spider-Man 3 as a villain, portrayed by Topher Grace. Also starring Michelle Williams, Scott Haze and Reid Scott, Venom is releasing in India on October 5.
