Footage of Tom Hardy as Venom is finally out

The first teaser of Sony's Venom, though showing Tom Hardy, left a certain section of the fans dissatisfied as it didn't show his alien symbiote. Fortunately, at the CinemaCon convention in Las Vegas, extended footage from the film was released, featuring the character in all his glory. 

The video showed Tom Hardy's character Eddie Brock struggling with his newfound alter ego and at the end of it, Eddie and the symbiote become one, as the former embraces Venom and says, "We are Venom." 

Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the film is inspired by the comics Venom: Lethal Protector and Planet of the Symbiotes, and also stars Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, and Reid Scott. It's rumoured that Woody Harrelson is on board as Cletus Kasady, who becomes the vicious symbiote known as Carnage. The film is scheduled for release on October 5.
