Michael B Jordan to essay John Clark in next film

Apart from this, the actor will next be seen in Steven Caple Jr. directorial Creed II

Actor Michael B Jordan will play the role of Tom Clancy's famous character John Clark in a new yet-untitled film series.

Paramount is developing two films based on the Clancy books Rainbow Six and Without Remorse -- both novels in which Clark is the main star. Jordan will co-produce the film with Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec.

Also, Paramount has hired writer-producer Akiva Goldsman to head the project and is in talks with writers for the Without Remorse adaptation.

The famous character of Clark aka John Terrence Kelly is an ex-Navy Seal-turned-operations officer for the CIA and it was first featured in 1988's The Cardinal of the Kremlin. followed by  17 novels.

On the big screen, renowned actors like Willem Dafoe, Liev Schreiber and Jack Ryan have essayed Clark's role. 

Apart from this, Jordan will next be seen in Steven Caple Jr. directorial Creed II.
