The teaser of Rajinikanth-Shankar’s 2.0 will released on September 13. The makers will launch the teaser in both 3D and 2D simultaneously. In a statement, they have said that an announcement will soon be out about the list of theatres where the teaser will be screened in 3D. Since 2.0 has been shot completely in 3D, the makers want viewers to catch the sneak-peek in 3D as well.

Starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead, 2.0 is touted to be India’s costliest project yet. The sequel to 2010's Enthiran has cinematography by Nirav Shah, with music by AR Rahman. The film is slated for release on November 29.
