The shooting for Uriyadi 2, produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, has been completed in a single stretch. The producers confirmed this with a tweet from their official handle. “The Uriyadi 2 team has finished the entire film at lightning speed and has wrapped up the shoot in a single schedule of just 36 days,” the tweet said. 

Similar to the 2016 film, the sequel will star Vijay B Kumar, who is also the director of the project. The film co-stars newcomer Vismaya as the female lead and Madras Central-fame Sudhakar in a key role. Uriyadi 2 will have music by Govind Vasantha. The film is expected to hit the screens in early 2019.
