Cinematographer GK Vishnu, who made his debut with Mersal, has now been roped in for the Atlee-Vijay duo’s next film, according to our sources. The film, produced by AGS Entertainment, is expected to go on floors in January. Official announcements about the cast and crew are awaited. It is heavily being speculated that the film will be titled Aalaporan Tamizhan, after the chartbuster song from Mersal. 

This will be Atlee’s third collaboration with Vijay after Theri and Mersal. It is notable that Vishnu received immense appreciation for his visuals in Mersal. 

Vijay is awaiting the release of Sarkar, directed by AR Murugadoss. Atlee, on the other hand, also has his Telugu debut with Jr NTR in the pipeline, which is expected to go into production in early 2020.
