Director TK Rajeev Kumar is back after a long hiatus with his next film titled Kolambi, starring Nithya Menen in the lead. Shooting for this project, in which Aristo Suresh plays the male lead, has commenced at Thiruvananthapuram. Renji Panicker, Baiju, Dileesh Pothan, and Rohini form the rest of the cast. 

Roopesh Omana is producing the film under the banner of Nirmalyam Cinema. Ravi Varman is the cinematographer, while Sabu Cyril is in charge of the production design and Resul Pookutty is handling the sound department.
