CE Features

AR Rahman and Shah Rukh Khan have collaborated on a new anthem created for the 2018 Hockey World Cup. With lyrics by Gulzar and music by Rahman, the music video will feature Shah Rukh. The actor shared a picture of himself and the composer from the sets captioning it: “Spent a few hours with the prides of India, hockey and AR Rahman, and the talented Ravi Varman. Thank you to the whole team for making me feel so wonderful. Heart beats for hockey.”

Rumour has it that the acclaimed music director has also directed the video with Ravi Varman cranking the camera. AR Rahman, notably, also has his directorial debut Le Musk in the works.

The Hockey World Cup is set to happen from November 28 to December 16 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
